The back-end manufacturing process of CCM (Camera Module) assembly is one of the most critical packaging stages in mass production of camera modules. This process primarily integrates the lens, FPC, and PCB into a complete camera module. Typical process flows include Holder Mount assembly, lens fastening, and precision focus adjustment through Active Alignment, ensuring optimal imaging performance. This stage requires extremely high accuracy to meet the stringent resolution and stability requirements of high-end smartphone cameras, automotive cameras, and NB (notebook) front-facing cameras.

Mobile compact camera modules are commonly assembled using FPC-based processes, while NB camera modules mainly adopt Holder Mount and panelized (panel-level) manufacturing. Automated equipment is responsible for component placement, positioning, and compensation to ensure consistent and precise assembly accuracy. For automotive camera modules, after lens fastening onto the PCB, high-rigidity robotic systems are employed for automated loading and unloading, seamlessly connecting to downstream optical inspections such as MTF testing to comply with automotive-grade durability and traceability requirements.

Automation equipment functions for CCM assembly include Holder Mount assembly, lens fastening, high-precision dispensing and curing, as well as robotic automated material handling and inspection integration. Through a comprehensive automation assembly solution, CCM camera module production lines can significantly improve yield, shorten cycle time, and ensure optical performance consistency, meeting the high-quality demands of smartphone cameras, automotive cameras, and NB camera module markets.
