數位相機自動對焦控制系統之音圈馬達
In the Compact camera module industry, actuators are key components of imaging modules, primarily used for Auto Focus (AF) and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Common actuator products in the current market include VCM (Voice Coil Motor) and OIS voice coil motor modules. These actuators are typically composed of a moving part (mover) and a stationary part (stator). The upper and lower subassemblies generally include precision components such as metal housings, coils, springs, magnets, Hall ICs, spring plates, and FPCs. In recent years, MEMS-based actuators and liquid lens actuators have also been developed to meet the demands for further miniaturization and higher optical performance.
Due to the compact structure and extremely tight component tolerances of voice coil motors, the manufacturing process requires very high levels of precision, cleanliness, and consistency. As a result, multiple advanced automation technologies are widely adopted in production. Typical processes include high-precision Pick & Place operations, dispensing and interpolation control, laser welding, electrical testing, and six-side appearance inspection (6-Side AOI).
To address different process requirements, automated equipment can support spring assembly, magnet assembly, mover module assembly, stator module assembly, and voice coil motor final assembly. Downstream inspection processes can be further integrated with six-side visual inspection, inner thread inspection, electrical testing, and performance characterization to enhance process stability and overall yield.
Through a comprehensive automation solution, the production of VCM and OIS actuators can achieve higher consistency, accuracy, and mass production capability, effectively meeting the market demand for miniaturized, high-performance imaging modules in advanced consumer electronics applications.
